New Balance Crew Poly Core Socks (6-Pack)

I own 40 pairs of this style of socks so that alone should tell you how eccentric I am. I like this style because I'm a long distance walker (more than 15 miles per walk usually) and need a sock that doesn't slip and slide around which would cause blisters. These socks fit the bill. I agree they go high up leg and nearly to the knee. This doesn't bother me because it prevents sunburn on my calf. One bad thing is they put the NB logo on the back of the sock which looks like it is a smudge from a distance. It is an old man kind of sock. The material is thin and fairly easy to tear when putting the sock on the foot so be careful. I noticed someone stated that he had bought other NB socks in the past and preferred them to this style. Well that isn't me. I made the mistake of buying online other NB socks of a different style and had to give them away because they were too tight. All I'm saying is be sure to buy exactly the model you want. This particular model is "Core Large white NO96-WHY-LG". Look exactly at the picture to make sure you are ordering the correct model. I'm giving the sock 4 stars because it is a fairly homely sock even though it works great for me when I go for these long walks. I prefer Russell socks for comfort, which unfortunately are no longer made.

Very nice socks, but my husband said they were too tight. He wears a 9.5 shoe and I got the medium size socks, should have gotten the large size.

Very nice socks. I would have given them 5 stars but they were not quite as thick as I wanted butthey are very nice. They hold their shape nicely even after repeated washings. I would definatelyrecommend the Adult's New Balance Crew Socks. I wear a size 8 shoe...the medium size sock fitsvery well.

I have purchased New Balance before and these socks do not make the grade. They are too thin and are too tight ( I ordered the proper size) They are much longer then any sock I have purchased before they come up too high on my leg I just do not like them. The Vender was fine they were shipped quickly and packed properly. I would not recommend this sock.

i think there great! but should have ordered large size. they weren't available at the time. would like to have more if i could get them in large. would also like them in anklets size lg.

I have bought other NB socks and these feel like a cheap imitation. I will buy other NB socks but probably not online

these are over the calf socks, and the top band is really restrictive and tight. I would not recommend them.
