I purchased this mug in two different sizes as a gift for someone who tends to be a spiller. One size to keep their morning coffee from cooling off too quickly, before they can enjoy it in a relaxed way. The larger size is for their daily water intake. Both sizes do a great job of keeping the liquid inside from losing its ideal temperature too soon, and maintaining that temperature over a long period of time. The value for the product is good, because you’re not tossing out drinks that have lost their appeal due to temp changes. That’s saving money. Temp retention is key here. The weight is what I expected for a cup that does this sort of job effectively. The sturdy handle is comfortable and makes the cup easy to use. I agree with the other reviewers on the appeal of having a silicone base. Its slip-resistance was one of the selling points that sold me on this one. On the occasions when it did get knocked over, the damage was minimal, if any at all, so I am satisfied with the outcome. Keeping the interior clean and free of staining is easy for me when I use a soft “erasing” type of sponge. It prevents the buildup from accumulating on the surface areas. Keeps it looking like new. I love using cups with stainless steel interiors because there is no transfer of taste into the beverage you are drinking. Granted, these don’t work with our vehicle’s cup holders, so they stay home and do their job there - brilliantly! All features and benefits considered, I would recommend them highly.

I bought this for my wife to use for her coffee. We have tried a couple other brands and styles of insulated mugs, but after only a couple days use, I felt compelled to write a review. With the other mugs, the top is hard to get on and off, often leading to messy splashes all over the sink, the counter and me! One of our mugs has a screw-in top. To get that top off requires a paper towel in each hand to get a good grip to unscrew the lid. With the Locknlock, I was first impressed with the apparent quality of the mug and the lid. The second thing that I noticed was how easy the lid was to insert and remove, yet it still seals against leaks. My wife was very impressed with the swing lock on the lid, it locks open or closed. It keeps hot coffee hot longer thana ceramic mug, but we haven't timed it to see if the coffee stays hot for 3 hours. If you are looking for a spill proof insulated mug, I enthusiastically recommend the Locknlock. I plan to buy another one for myself, We purchased the 16 ounce mug.

I use this every day for water. Just the right size for my small hands and and not to heavy. Holds the amount of water I want. Keeps water cold even if ice melts. Going to get another just for coffee.

I bought this thermos for my morning coffee on my way to work. I was disappointed that it didn't fit into my car cup holder. But to my pleasant surprise it kept my coffee hot for multiple hours! It does leak, if it gets tipped over, but seems to be very durable. The top comes completely apart so that you can wash it thoroughly and make sure nothing gets stuck in the cracks.

This travel mug is great for keeping your coffee hot . The only con is that the paint on the handle does chip off. I have two of these mugs and both have had this issue. Great mug otherwise.

This is exactly the kind of mug I wanted for drinking coffee around the house. I just need a simple "splash cover" and not one of those fully sealed "spill proof" styles that everyone is selling. The top is an easier fit to press on than Yeti models, and the thumb slider is easy to move back and forth with your thumb. It holds the heat really, really well and I've actually been able to reduce the amount of coffee I brew each morning because I don't ever have any tepid coffee to dump out. I also stopped "preheating" my mug with hot water because it was actually keeping the coffee too hot for too long! Even the size and shape is perfect for around home because it's slightly shorter and fatter than some mugs so it's not such tall knock-over hazard. Well done LocknLock!

I really like the size, shape and feel of this mug. The insulation is very good and keeps my coffee warm all morning. I am giving it 2 stars because the lid does not fit snugly and is unusable because the liquid dribbles out when you try to drink from it.

I like this mug since I'm a coffee lover. And also I want my hot coffee for long time.
